A father and adult daughter were arrested Tuesday in connection to a marijuana-dealing operation out of the father’s home.
Ennis police Det. Sgt. Jason York said investigators obtained an arrest warrant Tuesday after executing a controlled buy in which the father, 43-year-old Tyrone Washington, sold an officer less than a quarter-ounce of marijuana. Police also obtained a warrant to search Washington’s home in the 1500 block of North Daffan.
Inside the home, police found less than two ounces of marijuana that belonged to Washington. They also found less than two ounces of marijuana inside Washington’s 24-year-old daughter’s backpack.
Both Washington and his daughter, Tisondra Strong, were arrested.
