A suspect is in custody in connection with an armed robbery at the Alma One Stop convenience store
in Alma.
According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect was a white male, wearing a hoodie
sweatshirt and with his face covered. The suspect displayed a gun and demanded money but fled the
scene before he could obtain any.
A witness followed the vehicle, according to a Sheriff’s Office release, and saw the vehicle park at a
residence in the 200 block of Alma Drive.
