This week marked the four year anniversary of when Moriah Gonzales’ life was tragically cut short at age 15.
Thursday morning was exactly four years after an Ennis resident found Gonzales’ charred, still-smoldering body off Knighthurst Road in southeast Ennis.
Four years later, Gonzales’ suspected murderer, Jennifer Samantha Puente, is still missing. The investigation and subsequent manhunt are still fresh on the minds of Ennis Police Department investigators who were led on a wild search for Puente and Alvarado for months after the murder.
