Hundreds gathered in Waxahachie at the old courthouse square on Labor Day for a candlelight vigil in honor of fallen policemen in an event called Blue Lives Matter.
Law enforcement representatives from Ennis, Corsicana, Red Oak, Waxahachie and surrounding communities and those wishing to support them joined in an inspirational confluence at the Ellis County seat.
